I love the look of sexy simplicity. I hate color on my lips, but want the natural, bigger pout. Lip plumpers are doing just that for me.
The first one I have tried so far, Pixi by Petra Lip Lift, was $15 at Target. I opened the little, but heavy, pink box. I was amused yet confused. I had expected to pull out a semi filled lip gloss container. Not a ‘almost half full’, slim amount of product. So my blonde self thought that maybe the low quantity meant it was good quality. Silly me.
It’s a sheer, minty gloss that I like to carry in my purse for an everyday, quick pucker. But the ‘bee sting’ lip lift effect wasn’t there.
